Clarins Ventures Into Organics

Clarins has made an agreement with organic cosmetics producer Kibio to jointly develop a line of natural organic cosmetics. Clarins will acquire a 10% stake in Kibio SAS and subscribes to the full amount of a convertible bond issue.The investment totals EUR 3 million. The relationship with Kibio's bonds may possibly allow Clarins to increase its shareholding in Kibio to 60%.
