The formulation features 2% glycyrrhetinic acid complex, an herbal-based steroid clinically proven to alleviate bacterial and fungal dysbiosis on the scalp.
With a 5.5 pH, the 5α Juniper Scalp Purifying Liquid Shampoo also incorporates niacinamide; saw palmetto; citric acid; and tea tree, peppermint and juniper essential oils. They help remove dandruff and excess sebum; moisturize the scalp; and soothe skin irritation, itching, sensitivity and redness.
The 5α Juniper Scalp Purifying Liquid Shampoo should be used on dry hair prior to shampooing. The user applies the product directly to the scalp, massages it in for about one to two minutes and then rinses it out.
