Claudie Willemin is an idependent consultant to the cosmetic industry. She served most recently as Head of Technical & Scientific Analysis, and Director of the Worldwide Applied Research Division for L’Oréal's Research & Innovation group. She joined L'Oréal in 1999 as Sun Care Products Development Manager.
Willemin was a member of the Colipa Sun Products Sub-Committee from 2000-2003. She also worked previously for both Rhone-Poulenc and Rhodia as manager of the Solubility Parameters Lab, then the Personal Care Lab. In addition, she served as president of the International Federation of the Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC), and the French IFSCC society, Société Française de Cosmétologie (SFC), where she was elected as the first female president.
