Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by IFF has launched Heliosoft (INCI: Behenyl Alcohol (and) Glyceryl Behenate (and) Lecithin), a mild and soft o/w lamellar emulsifier.

Composed of 100% natural ingredients from sunflower and rapeseed, Heliosoft reportedly brings softness to formulas while caring for sensitive skin.
Developed with lecithin from sunflower, and fatty esters and alcohols from rapeseed, this combination is said to support the formulation of thin fluid to thick textures, with an unctuous softness upon application to leave a comfortable sensation on the skin.
Additionally, the active imparts hydration and repairs damaged skin. According to the company, 90% of volunteers with perceived sensitive skin agreed the ingredient was suitable for sensitive skin products.
Finally, the ingredient is China-compliant, COSMOS-registered, eco-friendly and vegan-compliant.
