Controlling MMPs During Skin Whitening

Skin whitening procedures alter the skin's protective melanin layer and may subject the skin to degradation from UV-induced matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). This article describes that degradation and suggests a formulation tecyhnique to protect against it.
