Redox Reactions in Cosmetics: It is imperative that cosmetic products are stable on shelf. Therefore most cosmetic formulas do not allow chemical reactions. However, in order to meet consumer specific needs, a few chemical reactions do take place in the manufacturing process or in the product’s application.
