Hårklinikken has announced the appointment of Stuart Millar as the brand’s first CEO since its launch in 1992. He will work alongside founder Lars Skjøth to achieve growth in vital areas of the business.

Millar’s career comprises long term tenures at fashion and beauty brands including G-Star and Aesop, where he delivered on commercial targets while maintaining brand identity and establishing elevated market positions.

He joins Hårklinikken after most recently serving as CEO at Credo.

This announcement comes as the company prepares for imminent expansion into new categories and geographical territories. Key priorities for Hårklinikken include growing its existing product lines, expanding into new categories and maintaining a rigorous scientific approach to scalp and hair health.

Millar said, "I am delighted to join Hårklinikken at a pivotal point in its journey. It is rare for a brand to have such rich heritage and true authenticity, and I am looking forward to working with the team to bring Hårklinikken toward its full potential. Lars has spent more than 30 years researching and developing formulas that are clinically proven to help people achieve superb scalp and hair health, and I am excited to work with him as we look to further develop the product range, enhance our global presence, and increase awareness of the brand."

Skjøth said, "With the support of Stuart, I look forward to focusing on creating even more valuable products and innovations for our clients. My deep desire has always been to develop natural, robust, science-based methods, ingredients, and products for scalp concerns and hair thinning. When I founded the company31 years ago, it was a totally new category and I’m very proud of what we have achieved as a team so far. I'm eager to work synergistically with Stuart on ensuring the science of Hårklinikken reaches as many people as possible."
