Two innovative technologies from Evonik were chosen from 79 entrants from 56 companies, winning the 2016 China Personal Care & Cosmetics Innovation Award.

Evonik's emulsifier combination system (TEGO Care CG 90 and TEGOSOFT PC 31) won the innovation award in the "functional ingredient - emulsifying" category. This formula system is preferred for low viscosity products, providing a light, non-sticky skin feeling. The combination is PEG-free and fully based on renewable sources.

Evonik's high-oil-containing structured surfactant technology won the "functional ingredient - others" category. The TEGO Sulfosuccinate DO 75 is a key building block in formulating high-oil-containing structured surfactant systems.
