Coast Southwest has acquired an additional 33,107 ft2 office/warehouse at the company’s headquarters in Placentia, Calif., USA, and plans to use the space for increased distribution to meet a growing consumer demand.
“The additional capacity allows us to increase our distribution efficiency and carry extra inventory to better serve the marketplace,” said David K. Hoff, director of operations. The new Placentia building is Coast Southwest’s second signicant expansion in less than a year.
The company's Arlington, TX, USA regional office, distribution center and corporate innovation center opened in September 2013. “Our customers expect and require Coast Southwest to deliver the ingredients they need when and where they need them,” Hoff said. “Augmenting Coast Southwest’s integrated distribution network secures our ability to deliver their orders just in time.”
