  • Article

Symrise received the 2009 BSB Innovation Prize for SymHelios 1031, its ingredient that protects the skin from within against UVB rays and environmental pollution. Symrise has won the award on three previous occasions in 2005, 2007 and 2008. The ingredient placed first for Most Innovative Raw Material Concept—Functionals/Recipients.

The award was presented to the company on April 22, 2009, during in-cosmetics in Munich. The BSB Innovation Prize has been awarded annually by Beratungs- und Servicebüro Dr. Riedel. The winners are selected by an independent, international jury consisting of prestigious representatives of the cosmetics industry.
