The countdown is on for the arrival of in-cosmetics Asia 2012, as the leading pan-Asian personal care ingredient show prepares to make a welcome return to Bangkok, Thailand on Nov. 6-8, 2012 at BITEC. Potential visitors have only days to secure their attendance, with free registration for fast-track entry ending on Oct. 29, 2012.* During registration, attendees who recommend a colleague to attend the event are entered into a drawing to win an iPad.

Presenting its largest show to-date, in-cosmetics Asia will bring together ingredient suppliers, cosmetic manufacturers and some of the most respected figures in the cosmetics industry to share information, knowledge and expertise. Companies already attending include representatives from leading cosmetic manufacturers such as Beiersdorf, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble and Unilever. Exhibitors attending in-cosmetics Asia include BASF (Hong Kong); Bronson and Jacobs International Co, Ltd (Thailand); Evonik Personal Care (Germany); Mibelle AG Biochemistry (Switzerland); and Nardev Chemie Pte Ltd (Singapore).

More than 60 first-time exhibitors will be at the show, allowing visitors to learn about new developments and launches from around the world. First-time exhibitors include At Lab Co. Ltd (South Korea), Emery Oleochemicals (Malaysia), Natural Sourcing (USA), Toyo Sugar Refining Co. Ltd (Japan) and Triple Nine (Thailand), among others.

This year’s show has also attracted ten first-time exhibitors within the new Indian Pavilion, including: Chemexcil (established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and maunfacturers of basic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics), Insto Cosmetics PVT, Ltd. (manufacturers of massage creams, gels and shampoo products) and Suyash Ayurveda (manufacturers and exporters of natural essential oils, fine fragrances and herbal extracts).

By gathering exhibitors from all over the world together under one roof, in-cosmetics Asia provides visitors with the ideal opportunity to make essential savings on both time and money. The show gives manufacturers, distributors and consultants the opportunity to meet face-to-face with personal care ingredient suppliers and uncover new trends and ingredients first hand.

Visitors will learn about the latest developments in the personal care sector, with 35% more educational presentations than before–alongside the most extensive workshop programme in the show’s history and a record 26 Innovation Seminars. in-cosmetics Asia will host an array of Educational Workshops, including a focus on hair care, regulations, formulation and natural/ organic.

“in-cosmetics Asia is the must-attend event for everyone within the personal care industry. We urge people to sign up to the show and secure their free, fast-track entry to make sure that they do not miss out on what will be our biggest and best exhibition yet,” added Sarah Gibson, exhibition director at in-cosmetics Asia.

This year will also see the welcome return of the Innovation Zone, where visitors can discover the most innovative ingredients launched either at the show or within six months of the event. Also new this year, select formulations from suppliers will be on display, and visitors will be encouraged to test these formulations, along with a selection of hand-picked finished skin care, hair care and color cosmetic products from Mintel Beauty and Personal Care.

Innovation will be celebrated at in-cosmetics Asia with two awards--the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award and, for the first time at the show, Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine will host the inaugural R&D Awards-Asia. The in-cosmetics Asia Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award will be judged by an expert panel, who will recognize the novel ingredient that best combines innovative science and product features that benefit both manufacturers and end-users. The awards ceremony will take place Nov. 7 at 6.00pm in the Innovation Zone, with all visitors and exhibitors welcome to attend.

The Marketing Trends programme will offer an extensive series of seminars, which will advise organizations on how they can best capitalize on growing trends as well as highlight case studies from specific regions.
