Nearly one month remains until Cosmetics & Toiletries will announce the winners of its R&D Awards—Asia. This is the first time Cosmetics & Toiletries has awarded the R&D Awards—Asia, an expansion of the R&D Awards given at in-cosmetics Europe.
Similar to the R&D Awards, the R&D Awards—Asia honor one new cosmetic/personal care raw material and one new finished product targeted to the Asian market. These awards recognize the science behind the final product and allow both suppliers and manufacturers to bring greater exposure to their innovative technology and product launches.
Entrants had to be associated with a raw material or finished product specifically targeted to the Asian market and launched between August 2011 and November 2012. These nominations were reviewed by an esteemed panel of international experts who judged each entry on its significance to the industry and its long-term impact. Judges then selected the winners for two categories: Best New Ingredient and Most Creative Application.
The winner for each category will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 in the Innovation Zone at in-cosmetics Asia.
