Aquea Improves SPF Imparted in Wash On Technology

Aquea Scientific Corp. has improved its Wash On SPF Technology. SPFx now enables greater deposition of UVA/UVB sunscreens from face and body washes and shampoos. Now SPFs of up to 28 can be achieved with significantly lower concentrations of active, leading to better foaming and lower production costs.
The new product is also now free of parabens. This technology is said to impart SPF onto the face without a greasy feeling to the skin. Therefore, broad spectrum protection can be applied through a facial or body wash in the shower.
