Croda Launches Surfactant for Cleansers with Skin Care Oils

At in-cosmetics 2015 in Barcelona, Croda will introduce an effective, yet mild surfactant for luxurious, advanced facial cleansers. Inspired by the East, Cithrol 10GTIS (INCI: Not Provided) allows for the use of skin care oils in cleansers to gently and efficiently cleanse and soften the skin, while being easily rinsed off with water.

Cithrol 10GTIS allows formulators to create clear facial cleansers made up of oil and water in a microemulsion, maintaining the perfect hydro-lipophilic balance required for this type of high performance system.

While some (if not many) of these allegations may be unfounded or misguided, it underscores the critical role of safety and toxicity testing even under non-typical product use conditions.
