Cooling Agent for After-sun Products

Honeywell has introduced a skin-friendly cooling agent for the personal care industry. Asensa DS 826 (INCI: Not Provided) reportedly can be used in after-sun products, fragrances and lotions.
The ingredient cools through an evaporative process on skin but unlike existing hydrocarbon and alcohol technology, it is non-flammable and odorless. It is also non-ozone-depleting and will not dry the skin.
This cooling agent joins the Asensa line of polymeric materials as well as zeolites.
