Unilever Explores Transdermal Drug Delivery

BioChemics Inc. has entered into a research collaboration agreement with Unilever based on BioChemics' delivery technology.Unilever plans to utilize BioChemics proprietary topical delivery technology to deliver its compounds. 

BioChemics looks forward to broadening their technology applications.

BioChemics is a pharmaceutical company that has developed Vaso-active Lipid Encapsulated (VALE), a transdermal drug delivery system that may allow a substantial portion of the pharmacopeia to be re-engineered, turning oral drugs into transdermals that are safer, cheaper and potentially faster acting (applied directly to the treated area) than oral equivalents.
