Abstract: TRI-K Industries has developed a multifunctional protein from baobab that helps to repair damage, increase hair strength, protect from UV damage, moisturize dry hair and nourish strands.

TRI-K Industries has developed a multifunctional protein for hair care. Baobab Tein NPNF (INCI: Hydrolyzed Adansonia Digitata Seed Protein) is derived from baobab and helps to repair damage, increase hair strength, protect from UV damage, moisturize dry hair and nourish strands.

The company reportedly is among the first to develop a baobab protein with specific benefits directly correlated to its amino acid composition. Studies on African, Brazilian and Caucasian hair all showed positive results. The ingredient is a five-in-one anti-aging solution for hair, and is being introduced with the company's new non-paraben, non-formaldehyde (NPNF) preservative system.
