Klorane Laboratories has chosen citron pulp extract to create a shampoo for all hair types. Klorane Citron Pulp Shampoo, according to the created using the citron fruit from the eastern coast of Corsica. The company was able to obtain the citron pulp, due to an extraction process developed by the Pierre Fabre Research Center. The pulp reportedly contains a component which bonds to the calcium particles in water that cause build-up and dull hair.
The product, according to the company, nourishes the hair follicle and protects the scalp and follicle with vitamin P. It also is said to impart shine on the hair.
