Firmenich welcomes the return of Joy Atkinson as vice president of sales, fragrances and body and home care for North America. Atkinson assumed the newly created role on May 1, 2008. She will be responsible for all body and home care accounts in North America and will report to Jerry Vittoria, president of fragrances for Firmenich North America.

According to the company, Atkinson will focus on consolidating Firmenich’s strong position with its strategic partners in home and body care while expanding the account portfolio by targeting new mid-sized opportunities. Atkinson previously worked for Firmenich as vice president/senior account executive of Fine Fragrances. Before returning to Firmenich, Atkinson was with Symrise. Atkinson will be based in the Princeton, N.J., USA.
