AkzoNobel Appoints Marketing Manager of Personal Care

Puck van Doorn has been promoted by AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry to marketing project manager for personal care applications in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. In her new role, van Doorn will be responsible for providing support to a number of regional and global marketing projects initiated by the personal care applications marketing team.

To her new role, Van Doorn brings her experience in business plan development, defining and introducing price strategies and development and implementation of new applications and markets to her new position. Previously, she was a marketing manager for AkzoNobel’s industrial chemicals business unit, with additional responsibility for logistics and customer services.

Prior to joining AkzoNobel in 2008, van Doorn worked in the Netherlands in marketing for L’Oréal and as a project manager on the Procter & Gamble account at the marketing communications firm Neroc’VGM B.V.
