Cosmetics Specialties Names VP of Sales and Technical Affairs

Sean M. Grexa has been promoted to vice president of sales and technical affairs for Cosmetics Specialties Inc., a New Jersey-based personal care contract manufacturer and distributor of specialty powders.

Grexa joined the company in 2002 and has since served as director of sales and technical affairs. Before joining the company, Grexa spent nine years as an environmental scientist.

In comparison to his previous role at Cosmetic Specialties Inc., Grexa's new position, will expand to include multinational accounts and global regulatory affairs such as REACH.

“We are excited to welcome Emily back to lead our legal team and guide our industry’s legal and regulatory strategies,” said Tom Myers, PCPC’s president and CEO. “Her diverse and extensive expertise will be instrumental in navigating our industry’s complex legal and regulatory landscape, enhancing our support to member companies.”

2024 Officers, Directors Named for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) named its 2024 board of directors, who will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting, to be held Dec. 11-13, 2023, in New York City.

Established in 2021, the scholarship awards $5,000 to two students of a specific under-represented minority of any gender identity pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a science related field with an interest in pursuing cosmetics.
