Liz Claiborne Dies

According to the Associated Press, fashion designer Liz Claiborne has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 78. Founded in 1976, Claiborne's eponymous company became the first woman-owned enterprise to enter the Fortune 500. Claiborne's brands now include Juicy Couture, Ellen Tracy and more. Claiborne's reach extends into the personal care industry, with fragrances such as Curve, Bora Bora, Claiborne Sport, Sunrise, Lucky You, Realities, Spark and Juicy Couture.
