Sensory Spectrum Founder Awarded

ASTM International has awarded Gail Vance Civille, founder and president of Sensory Spectrum Inc. with the ASTM International Award of Merit and accompanying title of fellow. ASTM Committee E18 of Sensory Evaluation cited Civille for her contributions to and leadership of the committee including a long-range planning, symposium development, and expanding E18's scope.

Civille has been a member of ASTM since 1977. She currently serves on Committee D13 on Textiles as well as E18 and is chair of E18.92. She has received the David R. Peryam Award, which honors outstanding professionals in the applied sensory science field. She is also a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
