Mastertaste Flavors Division Appoints Long General Manager

Mastertaste Inc. ( Teterboro, N.J., USA), a global developer and manufacturer of flavors and flavor and fragrance bases, announced the appointment of Chris Long to general manager of its Sweet Flavors team in Commerce, Calif., USA. Most recently, Long served as national sales manager with California Custom Fruits and Flavors Inc. Long will oversee all aspects of the West Coast operation, including sales, finance, R&D, customer service and production.

The company’s Commerce facility supplies an array of flavors for sweet applications, such as high-quality fruit, and vanilla and brown sweet flavors. According to the company, though its experience and knowledge in sweet flavor encapsulation, the company provides unique flavor systems in a dry form that can increase bake stability or provide an extra “burst” of flavor when consumed.
