Evonik Launches Crowd Sourcing Competition for College Students

Evonik Corporation has announced the launch of a crowd sourcing competition that will aim to "deliver novel and innovative solutions to the personal care industry." 

The Details

  • Candidates will propose an idea for a product/material that satisfies an unmet need or provides an enhancement to a current functional area in the market
  • Winners of the challenge will be awarded cash prizes as well as consideration for potential positions within Evonik
  • The challenge will be conducted by MindSumo, a San Francisco-based company known for connecting companies and students in the field of science and technology
  • The challenge for the personal care industry runs until August 16, 2017

Sanjay Gupta, Ph.D., vice president and regional head of Corporate Innovation at Evonik, said,“The personal care industry touches all of us and this challenge provides students with an opportunity to get their insights and ideas heard by a leading global specialty chemical company."
