CIDP Adds Japanese and Chinese Test Subjects

The testing company Centre International de Developpement Pharmaceutique (CIDP) announced it has added Chinese and Japanese panelists to its test panel options. According to the company, the high demand for Asian skin studies pushed it to recruit for these specific panels. Now, it holds a database of Chinese and Japanese panels, through its Mauritian and Brazilian subsidiaries. Interestingly, Brazil has the largest Japanese population outside of Japan (1.5 million people) and 2% of the Mauritian population is of Chinese origin.

In relation, CIDP plans to strengthen its offerings thanks to the planned opening, in 2015, of a new subsidiary in Malaysia, bringing the number of research centers the group has to six, which also includes Brazil, France, Romania, India and Mauritius.
