Dow Chemical To Distribute for Antaria in Eastern Europe and Asia

The Dow Chemical Company has partnered with Antaria Ltd. to market and sell Antaria's ZinClear IM products in 20 additional countries. Dow will now distribute and sell the zinc oxide products in more than 20 additional countries representing parts of Eastern Europe and Asia.

The agreement went into effect on July 1, 2009. According to Antaria, the growth in these countries' personal care markets led it to seek a distribution for its products there. Dow became Antaria's exclusive marketer and distributor for the Americas in April 2008.

According to Antaria, Dow was chosen for the agreement based on its technical resources, marketing resources, formulation support and logistics support.
