Shiseido Restructures Internationally

Shiseido has made plant to restructure its international business division. The Japanese beauty company has announced plans "to formulate an overseas brand portfolio that encompasses merger and acquisition strategies and to strategically promote the allocation of investment."

The company has started integrating its international planning department into its global business unit. Shiseido Hawaii will also be integrated into Shiseido Cosmetics (America). The company has added Carsten Fischer to its team as corporate executive officer responsible for international business. In addition, Katuhiko Ishii will become deputy general manager of the Asia-Pacific department international business division.
