CIR Celebrates 30 Years

The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) program celebrated its 30th anniversary at its 100th meeting on August 14-15, 2006 in Washington DC. The director of the program, Alan Andersen, emceed the event.

Speaking at the event were Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association president and CEO Pam Baily in addition to the chair of the CIR expert panel, Wilma Bergfeld PhD. Panel members were presented with a ship's clock engraved with their name and the occasion. Guests received an Ehrlenmayer flask, the CIR logo, which commemorated the CIR 30th anniversary.
