Sensient Purchases Microfine Titanium Dioxide Line

Sensient Cosmetic Technologies / LCW, a division of Sensient Technologies, announced that it has purchased the T-Cote line of microfine titanium dioxide from Particle Sciences Inc., Bethlehem, PA. With the purchase, Sensient assumes all marketing and sales responsibilities and acquires the associated trademark and existing business. Particle Sciences will remain involved during the transition for the technical support. The purchase will not result in any change to the product, its specifications or method and location of manufacture.

“T-Cote is a natural complement to our existing portfolio of surface treated titanium dioxides for UV protection," said Carol Landi, general manager, Sensient Cosmetic Technologies / LCW – North America. "The brand further strengthens our position in the inorganic sunscreen market.”
