IMCD Acquires Jan Dekker

IMCD Group has acquired all shares of Jan Dekker International. Although the deal is effective immediately, the two companies will not yet integrate.

“The activities of IMCD and Jan Dekker are highly complementary and this move will strengthen both companies. We share a culture of being longstanding and reliable partners of our principals,” commented Piet van der Slikke, CEO of IMCD Group, in a company press release.

Jan Dekker has a staff of 64 and a headquarters in Wormerveer, the Netherlands, with sales offices in France, Germany, Poland, the UK and Spain. In addition, it runs two laboratories in the Netherlands and  France. Management will study how and when the two companies will integrate. Until such time, Jan Dekker will continue under its present name while its management team will continue to lead Jan Dekker’s activities.
