Impact Colors Redesigns Website for Effect Pigment Formulating

Effect pigment supplier Impact Colors Inc. has launched a new website, www.impactcolorsinc.com, to offer the formulator a visual representation of the company's pigment effects as well as technical information and easy to access sample requests.

“We crafted a site that formulators and manufacturers can visit to get ideas about how our highly developed color effect pigments and vision beads can be applied to create new products that stir excitement in the consumer marketplace,” said Doug Thornley, co-founder of Impact Colors, in a company press release.

The website provides videos and presentations explaining the more technical aspects of the products, including the new Fiesta Color Effect Pigments, which are synthetic mica-based pigments that deliver clear colors, high chromacity and better luster.

“We want to make it easy for our customers to learn about us and to imagine the products they could create using the unique specialty color effects pigments and other solutions we offer,” Thornley said in the release. According to the company, it encourages manufacturers to ask about custom formulations. To that end, it has simplified the process to request samples and access specification sheets on the website.
