PCA Advanced Skin Care Systems, a top chemical-peel producer, introduces the new Smoothing Body Peel Treatment—a chemical exfoliation just for body skin. It differs in texture, pH balance and density from facial skin.

The two-step treatment simultaneously smoothes, firms and hydrates skin as it diminishes discoloration, according to the company. The Pre-Peel Mask formula of malic acid and urea softens and hydrates the epidermis, allegedly allowing the Smoothing Body Peel solution to affect more dramatic changes in the appearance and texture of the skin on the body.  The peel also includes an active blend of TCA, lactic acid and salicylic acid.
