Lip Care Products on the Rise

Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals announced the availability of its BeautiFull Lips lip plumper that reportedly is formulated to moisturize and rejuvenate lips. Vasodilator methyl nicitinate stimulates blood flow in lips plumping them while the Sepilift product, shea butter and vitamin E are used to moisturize and protect lips. Cetearyl glucoside is also added to the formulation to help the product retain moisture, according to Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals. BeautiFull Lips, according to the company, is designed to last for up to a month.

In the past few years, the demand for energy-producing products has been on the rise. The majority of energy products have been drinks. With brands such as Monster, Rockstar and Red Bull, consumers have had an array to choose from. There is also energy gum, energy shower gel, energy candy and now…energy lip balm.

Eco lips has introduced a caffeinated lip balm, Eco Lips Energy, made from organic ingredients such as caffeine, green tea extract and vitamin B12 to reportedly give a quick burst of energy right when you need it. According to the company’s president, Steve Shriver, Eco Lips Energy provides the energy boost consumers crave without the problems resulting from digesting the energy product. Lip balm, they report, is the perfect way to energize the body because of the lips’ naturally absorbent properties.

Trends in lip care are all about enhancing natural assets. Whether it is boosting natural color, increasing size or spiking energy, new lip products now allow consumers to improve but not change already present qualities.
