Clariant has unveiled Beracare CBA (INCI: Copaifera Officinalis (balsam copaiba) Resin (and) Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil (and) Tocopherol) an active blend of Amazon oils to be featured at in-cos Global 2023 in Barcelona, March 28-30 at stand Q10.

Beracare CBA offers a natural alternative to cannabidiol to soothe sensitive skin by providing a CBD-like effect through targeting the skin’s endocannabinoid system, activating the CB2 receptors. This helps increase the production of β-endorphin, creating a soothing effect, according to Clariant.

Data shows that the ingredient reduces skin sensitivity by 61% after seven days and 71% after 28 days, decreasing redness and irritation, per the company.
