[video] What the Moving Face Reveals about Age

IFSCC18-Motonori-Kurosumi---300X300-B

How do we estimate the age of others?

The results of a new moving face measurement technique, described by Motonori Kurosumi, of POLA, reveal that our perception of age (whether "old" or "young") intensifies as the skin is in motion. This technique also could be used to measure cellular senescence and how age impacts skin mobility.

Kurosumi's work was presented during the 2018 IFSCC Congress held in Munich. Here, he comments on the study. Watch now!
