- Karen S. Behnke, founder of Juice Beauty, was an early leader in the clean and ethical beauty movement. - Yve-Car Momperousse, co-founder of Kreyol Essence, recently scored a $400,000 investment for her brand, which focuses on natural and ethically sourced ingredients, particularly from Haiti. Kreyol Essence was a prominent early addition to Ulta Beauty's Conscious Beauty program.
- Dr. Christine Martey‐Ochola, co-founder and CEO of Nuele Hair LLC, is a biochemist who has launched a brand that offers effective, inclusive hair care.
