Steinberg Honored for Regulatory Excellence

C&T magazine columnist and industry expert David Steinberg has been elected to fellow status by the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), an international membership organization of regulatory professionals in the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

RAPS Fellows recognizes senior regulatory professionals, with a minimum of 15 years of regulatory experince and Level IV experience as outlined in the Regulatory Affairs Professional Development Framework, for their continued significant contributions and leadership in the advancement of the profession.

Fellows recieve a dignified status and special services from RAPS. They become resources for strategic diologue, implementation of special initiatives and international development. Steinberg and the 2009 RAPS Annual Class of Fellows will be inducted on Sept. 13–16, 2009, during the 2009 RAPS Annual Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia, USA.

Steinberg is the founder of Steinberg & Associates Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in servicing the personal care industry. In addition, he is the author of Preservatives for Cosmetics, a book published by Allured Publishing, and the author of Regulatory Review, a regular column appearing in Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine.
