Anja Fiedler has been named the head and member of the Lonza Management Committee at Lonza Bioscience. She will assume her new role on 15 April 2009. Anja Fiedler replaces Shawn Cavanagh, who will leave the organization to pursue other interests.
Before joining Lonza, Fiedler served as managing director of Philip Morris Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Hungary. Prior to her work at Philip Morris, she held several positions of increasing responsibility at Unilever in Germany and Switzerland, including marketing manager of the Regional Innovation Centre in Bangkok, Thailand and category director of personal care for South Africa.
