Micki Olsen is joining Chemtec Chemical Company as the sales manager for the western United States. In this position, Olsen will be responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in this area.
Olsen comes to Chemtec with a bachelors of science degree in Chemistry and 12 years experience in technical sales of specialty raw materials to the personal care industry. She was most recently the senior account manager for DSM, managing the West Coast territory. Prior to DSM, she was the technical sales manager for Seppic Inc. She has been an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists for 11 years and was treasurer in 2006.
"Her extensive experience on the west coast selling personal care ingredients, building strong relationships and achieving excellent growth for leading chemical suppliers will be incredibly valuable as we build and define Chemtec's future," noted Jim Harrison, CEO of Chemtec, in a company press release.
