Silab was awarded the PCHi Fountain Award for its natural active ingredients Filmexel and Ecobiotys.
The ingredients received first prize in the anti-aging and complex improvement categories, respectively. It represents the third award for Ecobiotys, which received Innovation Zone—Best Active Ingredient awards at in-cosmetics Asia (1st) and in-cosmetics Global (3rd) 2018. Filmexel received 3rd prize, innovation, during the 2017 SEPAWA congress.
Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, deputy general manager, innovation at Silab, commented: “We are very proud to have received not only one, but two first prizes for two of our active ingredients, especially in two flagship categories of the Chinese cosmetic market, which also demonstrates our capacity to precisely understand and meet Chinese customers’ needs.”
