Lubrizol Introduces Botanicals to Brazil and Add Account Manager to Lipotec

Lubrizol is introducing its Active Organics Inc. products to the Brazilian market at FCE Cosmetique and has added a West Coast account manager to its Lipotec subsidiary.

The Lubrizol Corp.'s personal and home care team will introduce Active Organics Inc. to the South Latin American market concentrating on Brazil. The addition of ActiLipid and Actisea H2O performance ingredients and Actiphyte and Actiplex botanical extracts to Lubrizol's personal and home care product offering in Brazil and the surounding region provides a strong entry into the botanical extracts and natural performance ingredients market and enhances Lubrizol's existing technology in naturally derived ingredients. Also at FCE Cosmetique, Lubrizol will introduce its latest rheology modifier, Carbopol Ultrez 30 polymer, to the Brazilian market.

Darcy Tracy has joined Lipotec, a subsidiary of the Lubrizol Corp., as regional account manager in the U.S. West Coast. Travagline´s primary responsibility will be the continual development of Lipotec peptides and marine-based cosmetic ingredients in the region. Travagline has broad experience as a formulator for hair care and skin care products and as account manager representing specialty raw materials to the personal care industry.
