Girls4Science Honors Women's History Month

In honor of Women's History Month, Girls4Science (G4S) will host its 2nd Annual Women's History Month Reception on March 14, 2013, at the Union Leage Club in Chicago, Ill., USA.

The reception will feature nationally recognized women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Erin M. Inman, senior VP of Primera, will be the event's keynote speaker, and an award will be given to deserving women in science.

Jackie Lomax founded G4S in 2008 to recognize the accomplishments of women in STEM and to provide hands on enrichment programs for girls 10-18 years old. G4S accomplishes its mission by offering free six-week Saturday Science Academy courses at one of Chicago's City Colleges. To date, more than 300 girls have participated in G4S programs.
