Elizabeth Arden Adds a New ‘Voice’ to Fragrance Business

The Christina Aguilera Fragrances have a new home with Elizabeth Arden. In a recent announcement, the company has signed an agreement to acquire the global license and certain related assets for the Christina Aguilera fragrance business from Procter & Gamble International.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2017 and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

The first Aguilera fragrance was introduced in 2007 by the internationally acclaimed recording artist. Today, Christina Aguilera’s fragrances command a global reach and have seven brands. In addition to being the No. 1 celebrity fragrance brand in Europe, it stands as the most awarded celebrity fragrance brand in this region.
