New government regulations were released today mandating all cosmetic products to be manufactured only if the ingredients pass a smell test. The Olfaction Bill was passed to ensure the safety of all ingredients, because nobody wants a foul-smelling facial cream.
Further, the bill states that all manufacturing facilities will undergo olfactory testing and will have a smell tester present during all hours, to confirm no foul play. Strict punishments are said to match the crime if there is no compliance.
The bill is said to take effect April 1, 2016.
