Cosmetic Spike in South Korea

South Korea's cosmetic market is booming. According to a recent study, South Korean cosmetic exports to Asia, specifically China, increased in 2005.  Exports of cosmetics not including perfumes and bath products totaled US$222.2 million, up 35.6 percent from 2004. Cosmetic imports increased 10.6 percent to US$418.39 million, with France as South Korea's largest supplier, followed by the U.S. and Japan.
