According to a recent Kline Group blog post, its Beauty Devices: Global Market Analysis and Opportunities report examined five key markets and found China to be the global standout. Online beauty device sales have reportedly doubled in just one year and now account for approximately 60% of total market sales.
South Korea and Japan also saw double-digit sales growth, according to the blog post.
Growth factors include:
- Artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis for customizable, at-home beauty routines;
- Mobile applications meant to accompany beauty devices; and
- Magnetic beauty devices.
As technology becomes increasingly intertwined with the beauty industry and consumers become more comfortable with (aka dependent upon) smart devices, chances are growth in the beauty device market will only continue to climb.
