Folk Medicine Meets Today's Skin Care

Silab launches a regenerative and tonic care ingredient based on 2000 years of folk medicine. Adaptonyl, according to the company, was developed from ashwaganda, or Indian ginseng, to restore activity to skin cells in extreme conditions.

The product reportedly limits the degradation of the dermal matrix and restores the integrity of the barrier function.  It is tested on volunteers, and exhibited positive results when used twice daily for 14 days.

Silab has found the ingredient to be particularly useful in the adaptation to extreme conditions such as stress heat, stress cold, pollution and stress UV.
