A Fruit Cocktail for the Skin

Laboratoires Sérobiologiques, a division of Cognis France, has created a fruit cocktail for the skin. Fructiplex (INCI: Butylene glycol (and) PEG-800 (and) PEG-6 (and) water (aqua) (and) serenoa serrulata fruit extract (and) Prunus armeniaca (apricot) fruit extract (and) Rosa canina fruit extract) is said to provide both moisturization and hydration.

This combination of apricot, rose and palm tree extract reportedly prevents tne formation of reactive oxygen species. Rose hips are formulate into the product for their high content in vitamin C, which is said to be 20 times higher than that of citrus frits. Rose hips also contain vitamin pro-vitamin A and vitamins B, P, K and E. The apricot is formulated into the product for its high content in pro-vitamin A and potassium.

According to the company, palm tree extract has been known to treat weaknesses, especially after illness. The ingredient is also known in phytotherapy for its anti-inflammatory properties. The fruit cocktail is recommended for formulation into face and body fruity cares, moisturizing and relaxing face masks, sensitive and dry skin care and face, body and hands care.
