Micro Powders Adds Oil-absorber, Feel Enhancer, Binder Ingredients

Micro Powders, Inc. has added three new offerings to its product line-up of specialty micronized waxes.

Microsorb 944S (INCI: Not Provided) is a micronized combination of high molecular weight polyethylene and calcium silicate. The product is designed to provide maximum oil absorption and deliver a smooth, silky feel to pressed and loose powders.

Microspersion 684S-XF (INCI: Not Provided) leverages extra fine particle size and spherical shape of the company's Microslip 684S product, which is made from 100% virgin grade polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

In addition, Microcare 710 (INCI: Not Provided) is a finely micronized combination of polyethylene, carnauba wax and PTFE. The binding properties of the polyethylene and carnauba wax, and lubricity and flow properties of the PTFE, promote excellent adhesion of cosmetic formulations to the skin.
